SportsHook is a social discovery site for people who dig sports. We created SportsHook so people can learn about new sports, meet new people to play sports with, and yes, have a great sporting life in the real world.

What can I do here?

A relationship starts with a conversation and a shared interest.

SportsHook is a place where you have conversations - whether it is about a new sport that you want to learn more about, or a pick-up game you want to get going. Perhaps you are looking to join an ultimate frisbee team, or you have that niggling injury you want to get some advice on.

SportsHook is also a place for networking and getting to know people. Whether people who share the same sports interests as you, or someone who can tell you more about a new and interesting sport.

And in time, SportsHook will be a place for you to organize your sporting life - in the real world.

What are the rules?

SportsHook provides a forum for open conversations for people with genuine interests in sports. We expect that our users, who are at least 18 years old (or 13 years old with parental consent) and sensible folks, will treat each other with respect. In other words, no profanity or inappropriate conduct. From time to time, we may have to intervene with quality control measures (yes, it is a euphemism).
